IP Expert BLS has arrived

Posted by Jo on September 5, 2008

My IP Expert BLS HD turned up today. I did have an evening of some Dynamips labbing planned, and was half way through lab 13, but decided to stop and have a look. First impressions are good. I went straight to the multicast sections. Scott Morris has a great style, very easy going. I still dont feel 100% on multicast, so its good to hear him go through some of the more advanced things such as MSDP. I got through the theory sections, and made a start on the VoD where he goes through the configurations. There are probably 2 hours of hands on examples on this video for multicast, hopefully with a similar amount for each of the other topics.

  1. Yeah Scott does have the easy-going attitude which makes learning fun :-). If you go through the first video (hope I am not spoiling anything here) he says “we do not offer treatment” relating to people listening to his voice when they are in the CCIE lab.
